Chris Lytridis received his BEng (Honours) degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering in 1999, his Msc degree in Mobile Robotics in 2000 and his PhD degree in Mobile Robotics in 2004 from the University of Portsmouth, UK. He is a member of the Advanced Educational Technologies and Mobile Applications Research Lab (AETMA Lab) at the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.  He has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in a number of subjects such as programming, robotics, computer graphics, mobile app development, and educational technologies, both at the University of Portsmouth as well as at the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology. He has been involved in various research projects regarding the development of open educational software and open educational content. His research interests include mobile robotics, augmented reality applications and educational technologies and he has published several research papers in these areas. He is a mobile applications developer for Android and iOS devices with published applications and he is also experienced in the development of web applications.
